Ramiro Bermudez Jr. (b. 1991) is a painter based in Long Beach, California. His work explores community identity through oil painting and hand painted signage. He studied Sign Graphics at Los Angeles Trade Technical College and has worked professionally as a muralist, contributing to public projects throughout the region.

Artist Statement

Bermudez’s work explores his deeper attraction to perspective, reinterpretation, and cultural layering within a community. Things that some people might view as negative, he sees as a version filtered by the community itself, marked by time, conflict, expression, and presence.
